How Kippy CAT works
Kippy uses satellite and mobile network technology to pinpoint your cat's location and send it straight to the Kippy app on your phone - in real time, from anywhere in Europe.
To do this, Kippy has a SIM card built in (just like your mobile phone), which is activated through a simple subscription plan. This is what makes unlimited-distance, real-time tracking possible - and why it's so much more reliable than trackers that don't require a subscription.
Please check you have mobile network coverage in the areas where you'll be using the device.

Live GPS Tracking
Never let them out of your sight.
With Live Tracking you can know their location in real time and from an unlimited distance. See where they have been thanks to the location history.

Health Rate
Promote their well-being
Kippy's algorithm assigns a personalised score (Health Rate) to your cat's overall health status, monitoring activities such as grooming, sleep, and more.

Safe Areas
Set virtual borders.
Don't worry about losing them. With the Safe Area feature, if your cat leaves the designated area, Kippy will send you an escape alert direct to your phone.

Network Coverage
Track your pet across Europe
One built-in SIM. No roaming fees. Coverage across Europe, select French overseas territories, and South Africa.
Whether you're at home or away on holiday, your subscription keeps you connected - with no data limitations as you travel between countries.
Coverage depends on local mobile network availability (4G LTE Cat-M or 2G). Performance may vary by area. PLEASE NOTE: Kippy roaming is independent of whichever network your mobile phone uses.

What do other pet parents think of Kippy
"Very good product and reassuring"
I'm really very happy with the Kippy for cats. It's lightweight, the collar is comfortable and adjusts easily thanks to the different size options, which is super practical. Setting up the app is quick and straightforward. I even tested it by turning the app off and back on to check whether the signal was still reliable - and yes, it still picks up. The precision is truly impressive - you can know exactly where your cat is in real time, which is very reassuring. I recommend it without hesitation.
— Catherine R.
"Great GPS, I recommend it"
I've been using the Kippy CAT for a few weeks for my cat who loves heading out to explore, and honestly it gives me enormous peace of mind. The location is fairly accurate and the app is simple to use, letting you quickly see where the cat is in real time. The collar is lightweight and my cat got used to it pretty quickly. I also like that it's waterproof and safe with thecollar break-awaysystem.
— Roger K.
"Tracker adopted and approved!"
I've tested the Kippy with my French Bulldog and I'm really pleased with it!
— Elise D.
The tracker is lightweight and sturdy, attaches very securely and fits both a collar and a harness without causing any bother, since the tracker has a lozenge shape. Tracking is done via an app, which is fast and intuitive, allowing you to follow your dog's location in real time with great precision. Note that a subscription is required to use the service. Battery life is also good, with several days of use before needing to recharge. I recommend it!
"I can finally let her off the lead with greater peace of mind"
I've been using the Kippy tracker for about a month for my little dog Tokyo, a very curious Golden Retriever with a passion for exploring every corner of the park. I needed something to give me reassurance when I let her off lead and I have to say the Kippy has exceeded my expectations.
If you have an adventurous dog like mine and want to let them roam free without worry, I genuinely recommend Kippy. It's one of those purchases that makes you say "I should have got it sooner."
— Mario C.
"Great product"
We are very happy with the Kippy DOG. It's easy and intuitive to use, lightweight and durable (our dog wears it all the time, even near water and in all weather conditions)and it lets us stay calm even when we lose sight of our dog, who loves to run as far away as possible. The monitoring functions are accurate and precise. We can't do without it any more!

Questions About Kippy?
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
How long does the battery last?
Battery lasts up to 12 days. Battery life depends on network coverage, GPS signal strength and usage. The average battery life ranges from 2 to 6 days, but may be longer in some cases:
- Up to 12 days if the cat remains within the Energy-Saving Zone at all times;
- Up to 6 days if the cat is often near the Energy Saving Zone and Live Tracking is not activated frequently;
- Up to 4 days if the cat is always outside the Energy Saving Zone;
- Up to 2 hours with Live Tracking always active.
How does the Kippy CAT GPS collar for cats work?
The Kippy CAT GPS collar for cats works via GSM technology, which is currently the most advanced. Like the radio-wave GPS tracker, it has a GPS receiver that interacts with GPS satellites orbiting the Earth to calculate its position. The difference, however, is that the geographical coordinates of the receiver are not transmitted to a device via radio waves, but to a smartphone or computer app via the telephone network. A satellite GPS cat tracker with GSM, using the cellular network, can locate your cat wherever it is. This is because it always searches for the nearest cellular network, so whenever your cat is in an area with a signal, it will always be traceable. In addition, the GPS + GSM tracker also uses triangulation of phone cells and WiFi networks, so it can pinpoint your cat's location even in GPS-critical conditions.
How can I install and set up the Kippy GPS tracker on my cat?
To use Kippy, follow these simple steps:
- Purchase the Kippy device and activate the subscription that best suits your needs.
- Adjust the collar length to fit your cat's neck and fasten it using the dedicated strap.
- Download the Kippy app on your smartphone and follow the instructions to pair your device.
- Through the app, you can view your cat's location in real time, set up safe zones and receive notifications if they leave these areas.
- If you wish, use the additional features to monitor your four-legged friend's physical activity and health.
In just a few simple steps, you will have installed and configured your Kippy GPS tracker, ensuring the safety and well-being of your four-legged friend.
How does the automatic release system of the Kippy CAT collar work?
To ensure safety and prevent accidental incidents, the Kippy CAT collar is equipped with an automatic release system. This feature allows it to detach easily when subjected to a sudden force. The end with the opening icon, which is recommended to open in case of emergency, is set to release at 4 kg, while the other end is set at 8 kg.
How long does it take for a cat to get used to the collar?
If your cat is not used to wearing a collar, we recommend allowing a few days for it to get used to the device. If after 30 days your cat still does not like the collar, we can offer a full refund.
What to do if my cat has never worn a collar?
We understand that cats are creatures of habit, and if yours is not used to wearing a collar, we recommend allowing an adaptation period to avoid unnecessary stress. During this time, keep a close eye on your cat, and only once you are sure it will not try to remove the collar can you begin using it fully. We offer a 30-day return period if your cat does not take to the collar.
How do I subscribe to a Kippy CAT plan?
You can activate your subscription in two ways:
- As soon as you have finished purchasing the Kippy, on the order completion page, by clicking on the 'Buy Subscription' button, you will be able to purchase the subscription even before receiving the device. The subscription will not be activated at the time of purchase, but once registration in the app has been completed.
- Once you have received the Kippy, simply install the app and follow the registration instructions. Once registration is complete, you will be redirected to the subscription purchase page where you can choose the solution you prefer.
Does Kippy CAT release hazardous emissions to my cat?
Kippy CAT complies with RE-D directives and SAR limits and does not harm your pet's health. Kippy CAT is a device with technology comparable to that of a mobile phone; however, its emissions are lower because:
- Significant transmission to the network only occurs during live tracking mode.
- It is never in audio reception mode (the moment of highest emission).
- In certain uses, emissions are close to zero.
